Alternative to camera strap

I found this gadget at photo Plus 2010 (NYC) and wasn't sure about it at first but after doing a test drive, this in now my preferred way of carrying the camera while shooting.

  4. Great review. Very interesting idea. After doing an 8 hour model shoot I can really imagine how this would be useful. I must have said, "Where did I put my camera" 15 times. :D

  5. you know, photographer who are on the move like nature or event photographers don't really miss it like studio photographers do but after trying it & feeling the freedom from the strap they understand what I mean :)
Seeing is NOT believing - hands on is!

  6. Great Product! I'm using the Blackrapid R7 strap. It's a similar concept but it's still a strap.

  8. @Ivan - I know,I was looking at it at the same show & didn't love it just because it's still a strap, then saw this one :)
I used my belt yesterday again & love it! I keep forgetting I have it (means it's comfortable) so had to remind myself every time I automatically wanted to put the camera down! (it made me laugh).

  10. Now I'm seriously considering one of this! That's the reason I got the R7. I don't like the pull of the camera around the neck. But like I said, It still a strap so something like this would've been a lot better for what I want!!! (I hope Santa Claus is reading this!!)

  11. "Santa" is listening to you, but don't just "hope" do something to make it happen - remember, to win the Lottery you need to buy a ticket...
Wishing you cool gifts this holiday season!
