I got turned on to Time Lapse photography after seeing all the cool work out there, all you need to do is Google it on YouTube and you can stay up for days watching clips (..of course I didn't do that...).

A few friends of mine (also great Canon educators) have been playing with time lapse footage just for fun so I went out and got myself a remote that controls the camera to enable it to capture time lapse sequences...I need to read the manual...will report about the remote and also show you my first "dip" as soon as I have some footage.

Meanwhile, here are a few good samples of what you can do with minimal gear, in your own environment ( sure, Sunrise over the Everest is nice, but how often do you go there???)
